Topeka · Vehicle craft
Accessible vehicles, fleet repair, and shop craft — built with a map, not a guess.
Daedalus Customs is a vehicle workshop for wheelchair-accessible conversions, adaptive equipment, and the fleets that keep people moving. Chartroom runs the job. Forge works the bay.
Ask
Portal, phone, or the shop. We capture the vehicle and what is wrong.
Estimate
Labor and parts on paper before the bay is promised.
Work order
Printed with a scan code. Techs log time and parts in the Forge.
Invoice
Time and materials, shop supplies, tax. Pay in the portal or at the counter.
What we build
Mobility work when it is QAP. Ordinary repair when it is not. Fleet accounts that can request and pay without calling the shop.
WAV conversions
Lowered floors, ramps, lifts, and securement — planned as a job, not a pile of parts.
Adaptive equipment
Installed equipment documented from the manufacturer plate through final inspection.
Fleet repair
A portal for your units: request service, see status, pay invoices — without a phone tree.
General shop work
Diagnosis, fabrication, and repair on a printed work order with time and materials.
NMEDA QAP
Quality Assurance Program work, with a packet on the job — not a separate binder.
When a job requires QAP, the checklist appears on the work order: VIN, equipment data plates, photos, inspection ticks. Non-QAP jobs stay clean. This is shop evidence. It does not replace NMEDA accreditation software.
How we handle QAP
Fleet clients: request work from the portal.
Email plus a portal code. Status, estimates, and invoices without waiting on a callback.
